Urticaria

Urticaria or Hives is a kind of skin rash triggered by a reaction to food, medicines or other irritants. When an an allergic reaction happen, the body release a protein called Histamine. When Histamine is released the capillaries leak fluid. This fluid accumulate in the skin and cause Oedema. Symptoms of Urticaria or Hives includes bumps that vary in size, Itching, painful swelling (Angioedema) of the lips, eyelids and inside the throat.
